Description

This program focuses on the study of Event Management. It has produced graduates competent in planning and managing events and related business operations at local, national, and international scales. The curriculum is designed based on the Event Management Body of Knowledge (EMBOK), a globally recognized framework used by most Event Management programs worldwide and endorsed by experts in the field. Students will master in-depth knowledge of event management concepts, along with specific skills to conceptualize events, identify and analyze market potentials for event portfolio opportunities, plan efficient and effective event execution systems, mitigate risks, evaluate operational performance and service quality during events, maintain client relationships, and work independently or within a team.

Competencies

Students will learn and practice directly how to create an event plan, which includes planning event ideas & program concepts, promotional planning through various media efforts, financial planning for events, resource planning for events, and risk planning. Additionally, students will gain practical experience in managing the operational activities of an event, such as organizing event flow, selecting suppliers, creating contracts, concert management, talent/artist management, and sponsorship. They will also learn how to manage a company within the event industry.
