Follow-up Collaboration between Angkasa Aviation Services X Poltekpar NHI Bandung

Jakarta, August 30, 2024 – As part of the ongoing collaboration between PT Angkasa Aviasi Servis (PT. AAS) and NHI Bandung Tourism Polytechnic to elevate airport staff service standards to a five-star hotel level, an observation visit was conducted from August 26-29, 2024. This visit aimed to ensure that the Aviation Hospitality Training, provided to 282 PT. AAS employees from February to March 2024, was being implemented as expected and applied optimally in the field.

The team involved in the observation included Mrs. Endang Komesty Sinaga (observing at Soekarno-Hatta Airport Terminal 1A, Sultan Hasanuddin Airport in Makassar, and Sam Ratulangi Airport in Manado), Mrs. Iqlima Ramadhani (observing at Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport, Juanda Airport in Surabaya, and Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali), Mrs. Ita Maemunah (observing at Soekarno-Hatta Airport Terminals 2D and 2F, and Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Airport in Balikpapan), and Mr. Edwin Adriansyah (observing at Soekarno-Hatta Airport Terminal 2E, Kualanamu Airport in Medan, and Hang Nadim Airport in Batam).

The lecturers conducted direct observations to evaluate the impact of the training on improving service quality at these various airports.

After four days of observation, the event concluded with a monitoring and evaluation (M&E) workshop held on August 30, 2024. In the workshop, the observation results were presented by the team, focusing on the training’s effectiveness and the challenges faced during its field implementation. Additionally, the M&E report was compiled to provide recommendations for improvements and future steps to ensure consistent service quality enhancement.
