Bandung, February 17, 2024 – The NHI Bandung Polytechnic of Tourism (Poltekpar NHI Bandung) welcomed a working visit from the Parents’ Association (IKOM) of Poltekpar NHI Bandung.
This visit marked an important moment in strengthening the relationship between the campus and students’ parents, while also serving as a platform for the dissemination of information regarding the legal status of IKOM, which has now officially become a legal entity under the Decree of the Minister of Law and Human Rights, Number: AHU0011080.AH.01.07 of 2024.
During the meeting, which took place in a spirit of togetherness, IKOM reaffirmed its commitment to continuously supporting the academic and non-academic development of Poltekpar NHI Bandung students.
With IKOM now recognized as a legal entity, it is expected to further enhance synergy between students’ parents and the institution in creating a better educational environment.
As part of this working visit, an MoU was also signed between Poltekpar NHI Bandung and IKOM. This agreement marks the beginning of various forms of strategic collaboration between both parties, covering key aspects such as Non-Academic Support Services for Students, Collaboration in Enhancing Educational Quality, and the Establishment of the IKOM Secretariat Office on the Poltekpar NHI Bandung campus.
The Director of Poltekpar NHI Bandung expressed appreciation for IKOM’s initiative in fostering a constructive partnership with the institution. He hopes that through this collaboration, IKOM can play a more active role in supporting students’ development—not only academically but also in character building and career readiness for the tourism and hospitality industry.
Through this initiative, Poltekpar NHI Bandung and IKOM aim to strengthen their synergy in supporting student learning and development. This collaboration is a strategic step toward ensuring that graduates of Poltekpar NHI Bandung possess not only high-level competencies but also the readiness to compete in the tourism and hospitality industry, both nationally and internationally.
