Bandung, May 28, 2025 — The Director of NHI Bandung Polytechnic of Tourism (Poltekpar NHI Bandung), Dr. Anwari Masatip, MM. Par., CEE, personally led the second day of the Joint Entrance Selection Exam (SBM) activities.
Today, participants underwent the interview stage, following the Scholastic Aptitude Test, Literacy Test, and Psychological Test conducted on the first day.
The day began with a briefing from the Director to the interviewers, emphasizing the importance of maintaining objectivity, professionalism, and identifying each participant’s full potential. Afterward, the Head of the New Student Admissions Committee, Mrs. Endang Komesty Sinaga, provided technical instructions to all interviewers regarding the flow, instruments, and interview session procedures.
The interview sessions then commenced simultaneously. The Director and his team conducted on-site inspections of the interviews in various rooms to ensure the process ran smoothly, orderly, and in line with Poltekpar NHI Bandung’s academic quality standards.
This interview stage aims to explore each participant’s motivation, personality, and readiness to pursue higher education in the field of tourism. It plays a crucial role in the selection process as it serves as an early indicator of the participant’s compatibility with the nature of vocational tourism education.
The interviews were conducted by lecturers from various study programs, all of whom were equipped with standardized guidelines and assessment instruments.
Participants appeared enthusiastic and highly motivated, showing strong dedication to becoming part of the Poltekpar NHI Bandung family.
