Bandung, February 19, 2024 – Politeknik Pariwisata NHI Bandung once again held its Routine Blood Donation event in collaboration with the NHI Alumni Peduli Foundation, Tzu Chi Foundation, and the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI).
This event is part of a regular program conducted every three months as a form of care for others and a tangible contribution to fulfilling Indonesia’s blood supply needs.
Held on the Poltekpar NHI Bandung campus, the blood donation event received enthusiastic participation from various groups, including students, lecturers, staff, alumni, and the general public who joined this humanitarian effort. The spirit of solidarity and togetherness was strongly felt, reflecting the values of compassion that the Poltekpar NHI Bandung community upholds.
The event also received special attention from the Deputy Minister of Tourism and the Deputy Minister of Human Development and Investment (P2MI), who attended to witness the event firsthand and to express appreciation to the participants and organizers.
Beyond being an act of solidarity, this event also served as a means of strengthening connections between the academic community and alumni who continue to contribute to various social programs. Full support also came from Justus Steak House and Tilu Kitchen Patisserie, two business ventures founded by Poltekpar NHI Bandung alumni, which served as sponsors for the event.
During this blood donation drive, more than 100 bags of blood were successfully collected. All donated blood will be distributed through the Indonesian Red Cross to help patients in need, whether in hospitals or emergency situations. This number demonstrates the high level of compassion among participants and is expected to help save many lives.
