Bandung, September 2, 2024 – NHI Bandung Tourism Polytechnic officially opened the Hospitality Basic Skill 2024 program. The event was attended by the leadership of Kopensi Poltekpar NHI Bandung, the management team of Poltekpar NHI Bandung, and faculty representatives, who together welcomed the first-semester students participating in the program.
Hospitality Basic Skill 2024 is a program specifically designed to strengthen English and selected foreign language skills, such as French and Japanese, which are highly relevant in the global tourism industry. Additionally, participants will receive foundational hospitality training, including table setting, patisserie processing, culinary arts, and housekeeping, aligned with their respective study programs.
In a separate statement, the Director of NHI Bandung Tourism Polytechnic, Dr. Anwari Masatip, MM. Par., CEE, emphasized the importance of mastering foreign languages and basic skills in the competitive hospitality and tourism industries. He noted that this program is a crucial first step in building professionalism and providing students with a competitive edge for the future.
The management and faculty of Poltekpar NHI Bandung also offered their support and motivation to the students, highlighting that the skills acquired from this program will be valuable assets in pursuing careers in the tourism and hospitality industries. With this program, students are expected to be better prepared to face global challenges and become competent professionals in an ever-growing industry.
The Hospitality Basic Skill 2024 program will run for several weeks, during which participants will engage in various intensive training sessions and practical experiences, enriching their knowledge and skills in the field of hospitality.
