Lecturers of Politeknik Pariwisata NHI Bandung are once again trusted to be involved in providing meals for 213,213 Indonesian Hajj pilgrims, the highest number in the history of the Hajj pilgrimage.
This activity is a collaboration between the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (@kemenparekraf.ri), which oversees Poltekpar NHI Bandung. This partnership has been established for more than 11 years and has proven successful, as there have been no significant issues in catering services for the pilgrims since Poltekpar NHI Bandung lecturers took over the operations. The main task of the lecturers, who stay in Saudi Arabia for approximately 90 days, is to ensure that the menus provided to the pilgrims meet standards and support the necessary nutritional intake. This ensures that the pilgrims do not have to worry about the quality of the food provided.Additionally, the lecturers are responsible for training the workers or chefs who prepare these menus to maintain an Indonesian flavor, as many of these food processors are not Indonesian citizens and have never cooked Indonesian cuisine before.Congratulations on completing the remaining tasks in the next few weeks. We, the entire academic community of Poltekpar NHI Bandung, pray that you remain healthy and are always granted smooth operations in carrying out this noble task, aamiin.
