The 2025 Joint Entrance Selection (SBM) of NHI Bandung Polytechnic of Tourism (Poltekpar NHI Bandung) entered its third day on Thursday, May 29, 2025, with the main agenda focused on continuing the interview assessments for prospective students.
The interview stage follows the Scholastic Aptitude Test, Literacy Test, and Psychological Test conducted on the first day, as well as a portion of interviews that were held on the second day.
This phase plays a strategic role in the selection process, serving to assess candidates’ motivation, character, and both academic and emotional readiness to undertake vocational education in the tourism sector.
As in previous days, the day began with a briefing from the Director of Poltekpar NHI Bandung, Dr. Anwari Masatip, MM. Par., CEE, to all interviewers. In his remarks, he once again emphasized the importance of maintaining objectivity, professional ethics, and a strong commitment to conducting a fair and thorough selection process.
Following that, the Head of the New Student Admission Committee, Mrs. Endang Komesty Sinaga, delivered technical guidance regarding the interview process to ensure standardization and smooth execution across all rooms.
The interviews were conducted simultaneously by lecturers from various study programs using standardized assessment instruments. Interviewers were equipped with guidelines designed to comprehensively explore the participants’ potential, interests, and background, ensuring the selection results align with the student profile expected at Poltekpar NHI Bandung.
The Director, together with representatives from the Assistant Deputy for Human Resources Development and Vocational Education at the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, once again inspected several interview locations to ensure that the process proceeded in an orderly, smooth, and academically sound manner.
Throughout the activity, participants demonstrated high enthusiasm and energy. Their punctual attendance and preparedness in answering interview questions reflected their seriousness and commitment to becoming part of the academic community at Poltekpar NHI Bandung.
