The NHI Bandung Tourism Polytechnic solemnly commemorated Eid al-Adha 1446 Hijri with a deep sense of reverence and togetherness. The event took place on Friday, June 6, 2025, beginning with the Eid al-Adha prayer held at the Enhaii Hotel parking lot at exactly 6:30 AM.
The Eid prayer was attended by the Director of Poltekpar NHI Bandung, management members, lecturers, staff, and students. The prayer was led by Dr. Zainal Mutaqin, Lc., M.P.I., as the imam, and Ustadz Syaeful Hamdan, S.Th.I., M.Pd. as the preacher. In his sermon, he delivered the theme Emulating the Patience of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), inviting the congregation to reflect on the values of sincerity, sacrifice, and patience in life.
After the prayer, the event continued with the sacrificial slaughter of qurban animals, contributed collectively by the academic community and extended family of Poltekpar NHI Bandung. A total of 11 goats and 2 cows were slaughtered as a manifestation of piety and social concern for others.
Mr. Haryadi Darmawan, the Chairman of the Eid al-Adha 1446 H Committee, who also serves as Vice Director III of Poltekpar NHI Bandung, expressed his gratitude for everyone’s participation. “Alhamdulillah, this year’s Eid al-Adha celebration went smoothly. The enthusiasm of the academic community was remarkable, both in carrying out the worship and in showing concern for others. This spirit of mutual cooperation reflects the values of togetherness that we continue to uphold on our campus,” he said.
The qurban meat was then distributed to the campus community and eligible local residents, particularly those living near the Poltekpar NHI Bandung campus. The distribution was carried out in an orderly and targeted manner, as part of the campus’s commitment to building harmonious relationships with the surrounding community.
May the spirit of Eid al-Adha serve as a reminder to cultivate sincerity, strengthen bonds of kinship, and increase compassion for others. May every act of worship and sacrifice be accepted by Allah SWT and bring blessings to us all. Aamiin yaa Rabbal ‘aalamiin.
