Politeknik Pariwisata NHI Bandung, through its Library Unit, successfully held a book review event for “TI 2020 KA 2022” by Dr. Riadi Darwis, M.Pd., a Bahasa Indonesia lecturer at Poltekpar NHI Bandung.
The event took place on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at the Convention Hall of Poltekpar NHI Bandung Campus, in collaboration with the Working Body of the Sunda Deliberative Assembly (Majelis Musyawarah Sunda/MMS).
Held in a hybrid format, the event attracted more than 100 participants from various backgrounds, including academics, students, lecturers, professionals, artists, cultural practitioners, journalists, bureaucrats, and the general public.
In her opening remarks, Vice Director I of Poltekpar NHI Bandung, Mrs. Endang Komesty Sinaga, expressed appreciation for Dr. Riadi Darwis’s contributions to literacy and cultural development through his works. She also emphasized the importance of the academic community’s role in supporting the preservation of Sundanese culture through inclusive and collaborative literacy initiatives.
Also in attendance were the Chairperson of MMS Working Body, Andri Perkasa Kantaprawira; MMS Member Rita Rosita Rusman; Sundanese Script Expert from Cimahi, Yudistira Purana Shakyakirty (also known as Mang Ujang Laip); and Ancient Manuscript and Script Enthusiast from Bandung Regency, Mang Ino (Nanang Hapid).
Other notable attendees included: Asep Zaenal Mustofa, S.K.M., M.Epid., President Director of PT Majmu Musti Sundaya; Jumari Haryadi, Editor-in-Chief of MajmusSunda News; Didin Tulus, Director of Tulus Pustaka Publishing and Literacy Activist from Cimahi; Mirza Astriani, S.Sos., M.A.B., Head of the Library Unit at Poltekpar NHI Bandung; Drs. H. Dadang, M.Pd., Subdistrict Head of Cikalong Wetan, West Bandung Regency; Dedeh, Head of Ancient Manuscript Preservation at the Bandung Regency Library and Archives Agency (Dispusip); and Niki N. Sastrgraha, Staff at Dispusip Bandung Regency.
The book “TI 2020 KA 2022” is now part of the collection of several prestigious libraries around the world, including the Library of Congress (USA), Leiden University Library (Netherlands), Cornell University Library (USA), Hong Kong University Library, and the Library of Poltekpar NHI Bandung.
