Bandung, June 2, 2025 – The academic community of NHI Bandung Tourism Polytechnic held a flag ceremony to commemorate the birth of Pancasila, which falls on June 1.
The solemn ceremony took place in the courtyard of Graha I Gede Ardika, carrying this year’s national theme, “Strengthening the Pancasila Ideology Towards a Greater Indonesia.”
The entire academic community of NHI Bandung Tourism Polytechnic participated in the ceremony. Acting as the ceremony inspector was the Director of NHI Bandung Tourism Polytechnic, Dr. Anwari Masatip, MM. Par., CEE, who delivered a message on the importance of reinforcing the Pancasila ideology amid the increasingly complex challenges of globalization and digitalization.
It was conveyed that the government has established Asta Cita, eight national priority agendas toward Golden Indonesia 2045. One of the most fundamental agendas is to strengthen the ideology of Pancasila, democracy, and human rights.
“Strengthening the Pancasila ideology means reaffirming that national development must always be rooted in the values of divinity, humanity, unity, democracy, and social justice,” he emphasized.
He also highlighted the growing spread of extremism, radicalism, intolerance, and disinformation that threatens the nation’s social cohesion. Therefore, through Asta Cita, all components of the nation are called upon to revitalize Pancasila values across all aspects of life—from education, bureaucracy, and the economy to the digital realm.
This Pancasila Day commemoration serves as a reflective moment for the entire NHI Bandung Tourism Polytechnic academic community to continue embodying Pancasila values in the practice of inclusive, character-driven, and nationally sustainable vocational tourism education.
