Opening of the 2025 Field Project Study Dissemination Seminar Carrying the Theme “Synergy for Inclusive and Quality Tourism”

The Director of Politeknik Pariwisata NHI Bandung, Dr. Anwari Masatip, MM.Par., CEE., attended and delivered a speech at the 2025 Field Project Study (FPS) Dissemination Seminar, which marks the culmination of the sixth-semester fieldwork activities for students of the Tourism Destination Study Program.

With the theme “Synergy for Inclusive and Quality Tourism,” FPS 2025 serves as a collaborative platform for students to explore the potential and challenges across various tourism destinations in Indonesia.

This year, seven student groups conducted project-based studies in seven strategic locations:

📍Rejang Lebong, Bengkulu
📍Kuningan, West Java
📍Bone Bolango, Gorontalo
📍Komodo National Park, East Nusa Tenggara
📍Bogor, West Java
📍Pangandaran, West Java
📍Sawahlunto, West Sumatra

The seminar was officially opened by the Deputy for Resources and Institutions of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Ir. Martini Mohamad Paham, MBA., who emphasized the importance of student involvement in developing sustainable tourism.

This year’s seminar was also attended by local officials and regional leaders from the seven FPS locations, as a form of real support for the synergy between vocational education and local governments.

The students’ project presentations were evaluated by leading tourism experts and practitioners, including:

  • Prof. Dr. R. Arief Helmi, S.E., M.Si.
  • Dr. Fransiskus Xaverius Teguh, M.A.
  • Prof. Dr. Diena Mutiara Lemy, A.Par., M.M., CHE.
  • Teguh Amor Patria, A.Par., PGDip., MPPar., Ph.D.

FPS is held as an effort to present data-driven and field-based solutions by involving academia, industry, government, and the community. Students not only analyze destination dynamics but also formulate actionable and locally relevant recommendations.

Poltekpar NHI Bandung hopes that the outcomes of FPS will serve as strategic references in the formulation of inclusive, high-quality, and sustainable tourism development policies across Indonesia.
