
Bandung, July 24, 2025 – In preparation for the 2025/2026 academic year, Politeknik Pariwisata NHI Bandung held a Workshop on Semester 20242 Course Evaluation and Preparation for Semester 20251.
This workshop served as an important forum for reflection and the formulation of more effective and industry-relevant learning strategies tailored to the current needs of the tourism sector.
The workshop aimed to equip lecturers with the tools to improve teaching effectiveness, realign the current curriculum, and update teaching approaches and strategies by leveraging technology.
One of the main agendas of the workshop was a refresher session on the use of Edlink as a Learning Management System (LMS). Through this session, lecturers were trained to optimize Edlink’s features to enhance the quality of interaction and the effectiveness of online learning.
The event also featured a speaker from the Ministry of Tourism, Mr. Antonio Wasono Iman Prakoso, SE., MM, Head of the HR and Organization Bureau, who presented material on lecturer career paths and the latest updates in higher education academia. This session provided valuable insights for lecturers in developing their academic and professional careers.
In addition to discussions on learning strategies and lecturer human resource development, the workshop also served as a platform to evaluate other key aspects, including:
- Evaluation of academic and student administrative activities,
- Partnership and collaboration initiatives,
- Evaluation of learning support facilities and infrastructure.
During the final session, preparations for Semester 20251 were discussed in detail, including the presentation of the academic calendar, lecture schedules, course registration (KRS) validation, and an open discussion session among participants to gather input and strategies for implementation in the upcoming semester.
Through this workshop, Poltekpar NHI Bandung reaffirmed its commitment to continuously enhancing the quality of vocational higher education in the field of tourism, emphasizing technology adaptation, active learning, and synergy among academic stakeholders.
