
Bandung, May 20, 2025 — Poltekpar NHI Bandung welcomed a specific working visit from Commission VII of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR-RI). This visit is part of the supervisory duties and functions of Commission VII, particularly in the areas of education, research, and human resource development, including vocational education in the tourism sector.
The delegation from Commission VII DPR-RI was welcomed by Ms. Diah Paham, Deputy for Resources and Institutions at the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, along with Mr. Andar Danova L. Goeltom, Assistant Deputy for Apparatus Human Resources Capacity Building and Vocational Education at the Ministry of Tourism.
Also present to welcome the delegation was Mr. Anwari Masatip, Director of Poltekpar NHI Bandung, along with the entire leadership and management team of Poltekpar NHI Bandung at the 2nd Floor Convention Building.
The event began with a presentation on the campus profile, the vocational education system and processes implemented at Poltekpar NHI Bandung, including the industry-based curriculum and structured learning practices.
The agenda also included a campus tour of several educational facilities and meetings with academic staff. During an interactive dialogue session, members of parliament received input regarding the readiness and challenges faced by Poltekpar NHI Bandung in producing competent and professional tourism human resources.

On this occasion, Commission VII expressed their appreciation to Poltekpar NHI Bandung for its implementation of a vocational curriculum that is responsive to industry needs and for the high rate of graduate employment. The DPR-RI also acknowledged that Poltekpar NHI Bandung has played a vital role in the development of the tourism industry at both regional and national levels.
Through this activity, Commission VII DPR-RI gathered various aspirations and inputs directly from the academic environment as material for strengthening regulations and policies.
