Politeknik Pariwisata NHI Bandung welcomed a visit today, May 21, 2025, from the Army Equipment Education Center (Pusdikpal) based in Cimahi City.
This visit is part of the ongoing implementation of the President of the Republic of Indonesia’s priority program, Free Nutritious Meals, which is currently under development and continuous refinement. The program aims to improve the nutritional quality of the population, particularly school-aged children.
The visiting delegation was led by the Training Commander of Pusdikpal, Rear Admiral (Laksma TNI) Dr. Taufik Arif, S.T., M.M., CHRMP., CBSA, along with his team, and was welcomed directly by the Director of Poltekpar NHI Bandung, Dr. Anwari Masatip, M.M.Par., CEE, along with the campus management team.
During the visit, both parties discussed the strategic role of Poltekpar NHI Bandung in supporting the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meals program, from menu planning and management of production kitchens to the development of a hygienic and efficient food distribution system.
The visit also included an on-site review of the student practice kitchens, where guests from Pusdikpal observed the teaching process and the readiness of Poltekpar NHI Bandung’s facilities to support the Free Nutritious Meals program.
Dr. Anwari Masatip, Director of Poltekpar NHI Bandung, stated that this visit marks an important moment to build collaboration between vocational higher education institutions and the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) in support of government policy.
“With this activity, we hope to foster strong synergy between Poltekpar NHI Bandung and the TNI to ensure the success of the Free Nutritious Meals program. We are ready to contribute our expertise and practical knowledge in culinary arts and food service management,” said Dr. Anwari.
Through this collaboration, it is hoped that a range of positive initiatives can be further developed to improve community nutrition and foster a healthy, intelligent, and competitive young generation in Indonesia.
