Jakarta, June 26, 2025 — Politeknik Pariwisata NHI Bandung attended the Coordination Meeting of Tourism Polytechnics (Poltekpar) organized by the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia through the Deputy for Resources and Institutions.
The event took place at Balairung Soesilo Soedarman, Sapta Pesona Building of the Ministry of Tourism, and was officially opened by the Secretary of the Ministry, Mr. Bayu Aji.
During the event, the Deputy for Resources and Institutions, Mrs. Diah Paham, was present and provided several strategic directions. Also in attendance was the Assistant Deputy for Capacity Building of Government Human Resources and Vocational Education as well as Adyatama of Tourism, Mr. Noviendi Makalam, who also responded to a number of key issues discussed in the forum. For your information, Mr. Noviendi Makalam previously served as Director of Poltekpar NHI Bandung during the 2011–2012 period.
The main topics discussed in the coordination meeting included:
- Follow-up on PTKL (Higher Education Collaboration Program).
- Regulations regarding lecturer formation needs, as a proactive step to address the challenge of regenerating high-quality educators.
- Preparations for the odd semester of the 2025 academic year.
Representing Politeknik Pariwisata NHI Bandung were the Director of Poltekpar NHI Bandung, the Vice Directors, and the Heads of Divisions.
Active participation in this forum reflects the commitment of Poltekpar NHI Bandung to supporting the transformation of vocational higher education in tourism to become more adaptive, innovative, and globally competitive.
