The Director of Politeknik Pariwisata NHI Bandung, Dr. Anwari Masatip, MM.Par., CEE., officially opened the BAN-PT Accreditation Field Assessment for the Recreation Business Management Study Program (PUR).
This activity is part of Poltekpar NHI Bandung’s continuous efforts to ensure the quality of vocational education, particularly in producing excellent human resources in tourism who are aligned with the needs of the recreation and leisure industry.
Also present at the event was Dr. Andar Danova L. Goeltom, S.Sos., M.Sc., CPM (Asia), Assistant Deputy for Apparatus Human Resource Capacity Building and Vocational Education, Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia. His presence is a tangible form of the Ministry’s commitment—as the parent institution of Poltekpar NHI Bandung—to supporting the improvement of tourism vocational education quality in Indonesia.
Two assessors from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) were also in attendance to carry out the field assessment: Dr. Amelda Pramezwary, A.Par., M.M., CHE., and Rini Kartika Hudiono, S.Pd., M.A. The assessment process was also accompanied by a BAN-PT representative, Mrs. Zahrotul Latifah.
The assessors will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of various aspects of the Recreation Business Management Study Program (PUR), including the curriculum, teaching methods and quality, supporting learning facilities, graduate achievements, and academic governance.
During the field assessment, BAN-PT assessors engaged in several activities such as interviews with program heads, discussions with lecturers, observations of the PUR laboratory facilities, and meetings with students, alumni, and graduate users. The goal is to gain a realistic picture of the learning process and graduates’ readiness to face challenges in the professional world.
With this assessment underway, Poltekpar NHI Bandung is optimistic that the Recreation Business Management Study Program will achieve the highest possible accreditation results, while further strengthening its contribution to the development of tourism vocational education in Indonesia.
