Bandung, July 4, 2025 – The Director of Politeknik Pariwisata NHI Bandung, Dr. Anwari Masatip, MM. Par., CEE., officially opened the BAN-PT Accreditation Field Assessment for the Tourism Travel Business Study Program (UPW).
This activity is part of Poltekpar NHI Bandung’s ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of vocational higher education in the field of tourism, particularly within the UPW Study Program, to produce competitive graduates who are well-prepared to face the ever-evolving tourism industry.
Also in attendance was Dr. Andar Danova L. Goeltom, S.Sos., M.Sc., CPM (Asia), Deputy Assistant for Capacity Building of Government Human Resources and Vocational Education, Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia. His presence symbolizes the Ministry’s full support for improving the quality of tourism vocational education at Poltekpar NHI Bandung.
Serving as assessors from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) were Prof. Dr. Diena Mutiara Lemy, A.Par., MM., CHE., and Mrs. Maftucha, Dipl. Hot., S.E., M.Par. These two assessors will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of various aspects of the study program, including curriculum, teaching quality, learning support facilities, graduate achievements, and academic governance.
During the field assessment, the BAN-PT assessors are scheduled to carry out several key activities, such as interviews with program heads, discussions with lecturers, direct observation of UPW laboratory facilities, and meetings with students, alumni, and industry users of graduates.
These activities aim to obtain a clear picture of the quality of the learning process and the relevance of graduate competencies to industry needs. In addition, supporting documents such as study program performance reports, tracer study data, as well as research and community service outcomes will also be thoroughly evaluated.
Through this activity, Poltekpar NHI Bandung hopes that the Tourism Travel Business Study Program will achieve the highest possible accreditation results, as a recognition of the commitment and hard work of the entire academic community.
