Guest Lecture on Hotel Marketing Communications – Insights & Best Practices in the Hospitality Industry

As part of an ongoing effort to strengthen the link between academic learning and industry practices, the Hotel Management Study Program at Poltekpar NHI Bandung held a Guest Lecture for the Hospitality Marketing course, with the topic: “Hotel Marketing Communications: Insights & Best Practices in the Hospitality Industry.”

This event featured speakers from the Bandung Hotel Public Relations Association (H3B) [@h3_bandung], consisting of seasoned professionals in hotel marketing communications:

  • Cut Aliza Latifa (@lzltf_), Assistant Marcom Manager at @pullmanbandunggrandcentral
  • Juwita Agatari (@juwitagatha), Combo Marketing and Brand Manager at @harriscitylinkbandung and popcitylinkbandung

Through this session, students gained practical insights and industry-relevant perspectives on the strategic role of Marketing Communications in hotel operations. Topics included how to build and maintain brand image, manage communications with various stakeholders, and design effective integrated communication strategies.

This activity is a concrete example of the synergy between vocational education institutions and professional associations in the hospitality industry. It is hoped that such collaborations will continue to grow through various joint programs aimed at enhancing educational quality, curriculum relevance, and graduate competencies aligned with the needs of the tourism sector workforce.
