Bandung, May 27, 2025 — The Director of Politeknik Pariwisata NHI Bandung, Dr. Anwari Masatip, MM.Par., CEE., personally led the implementation of the Joint Entrance Selection (SBM) for the Ministry of Tourism Polytechnics held simultaneously today. His presence during the selection process reflects a strong commitment to ensuring quality and providing direct encouragement to prospective students.
The day began with a briefing session for all exam proctors, delivered by the Director alongside the Chair of the New Student Admissions Committee. This briefing aimed to ensure all technical aspects proceeded according to protocol and that each proctor understood their crucial role in maintaining the integrity of the selection process.
Today’s exam consisted of three main components: the Scholastic Aptitude Test, English Literacy Test, and Psychometric Test. All sessions were conducted in an orderly and conducive manner, supported by faculty and staff of Poltekpar NHI Bandung who served as proctors and on-site facilitators.
During the exam, the Director also conducted on-site inspections of several exam rooms, accompanied by representatives from the Deputy Assistant for Capacity Building of Government HR and Vocational Education at the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, as well as the team from the Education Testing Management Center (BP3) under the Ministry of Education, Research, and Technology. These inspections aimed to ensure smooth technical operations and participant comfort throughout the selection process.
Overall, today’s exam ran smoothly and orderly. However, some minor technical issues occurred in specific sub-tests for a small number of participants. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. The BP3 team will follow up directly with the affected participants to provide appropriate solutions.
The selection process will continue tomorrow, Tuesday (May 28), with the Interview Stage—an essential component in assessing the motivation, readiness, and character of the prospective students.
