Palembang, May 16, 2025 — The Director of Poltekpar NHI Bandung, Dr. Anwari Masatip, MM.Par., CEE, attended the Pre-Event of the Palembang Tourism Forum held at the Palembang Poltekpar Campus, marking the beginning of a series of events leading up to the national-scale tourism forum in the city of Palembang.
The event began with a Welcome Speech from the Director of Poltekpar Palembang, who emphasized the importance of collaboration between educational institutions and local governments in developing sustainable tourism in Indonesia, particularly in the South Sumatra region.
This was followed by a virtual Courtesy Speech delivered by Dr. Andar Danova L. Goeltom, S.Sos., M.Sc., Assistant Deputy for Apparatus HR Capacity Building and Vocational Education at the Ministry of Tourism.
The event continued with a presentation from the Head of the Palembang City Tourism Office, Drs. K.GS. H. Sulaiman Amin, M.Si., and a key presentation by the Chairman of the Indonesian Tourism Practitioners Association (ASPPI) South Sumatra Regional Board, Ir. Mgs. Moh. Isnaini F., M.T.
To close the session, an inspiring presentation was delivered by Prof. David Hind, President of the Asia Pacific Institute for Events Management, highlighting global trends in event education and management.
The presence of the Director of Poltekpar NHI Bandung at this forum reinforces the commitment of the NHI Bandung Tourism Polytechnic to actively participate in the national tourism education development network and to support the holistic and sustainable growth of Indonesia’s tourism sector.
