Tourism Business Management (MBW)
The Leisure & Recreation Management study program is an update from the previous study program; Tourism Business Management (MBW). This study program focuses on managing entertainment and recreational activities at international standard resorts and other well-known tourist attractions. Lecture material will discuss many aspects of managing entertainment and recreational activities at Resorts with reference to international resort management standards (The Palm Resort, Club Med, Bvlgari, Fairmont, Nihiwatu Sumba, etc.), tourist attractions with natural, cultural and artificial themes (City Park, Amusement Park and Themepark with international standards such as Universal Island, Disneyland, Sentosa Island, Seaworld Park, Lego Land, etc.). In addition, management of recreational activities related to sports and fitness (Sport Recreation & Wellness such as Gym, Spa and Sport Club), management of water recreation activities (Water Based Recreation such as Rafting, Diving, Snorkeling, Jet Board, etc.). This diploma program is carried out in 8 (eight) semesters with the composition of theoretical and practical lectures in the form of weekly internships (apprenticeship) in famous tourist spots and field trips (field trips) almost every semester.
